Our History
A look at AllTerra through the years.
1957
AllTerra’s historical connections predate the brand. AllTerra’s Penticton office at 264 Westminster Avenue has been a land surveying office since 1965, and retains all of Richard Chapman BCLS’s records, which date back to 1957. Both Doug Goddard BCLS and Tim Hall BCLS, practiced in Kelowna and Princeton respectively since the early 1980’s. Linden Fritsch BCLS started his practice in Kelowna 1987. AllTerra also holds the historic survey records from these three prominent BC Land Surveyors.
2008
Mark Cahill, BCLS started AllTerra Land Surveying Ltd in 2008 after working in Kelowna for Fritsch Land Surveying and Microsurvey Software. Prior to moving to the Okanagan, Mark worked in the land surveying industry for over 10 years throughout southern Vancouver Island.
2010
In 2010, Mark purchased the records from Tim Hall, BCLS when he retired from practice in Princeton. AllTerra continues to serve Princeton, Tulameen and surrounding areas, often working in the area on a weekly basis during the busy summer months.
2012
Derek Blaszak, BCLS, CLS, joined AllTerra in 2012, opening the Penticton AllTerra Office. Derek received his commission as a BCLS in 1995 and CLS in 1996, and has worked in and around the Okanagan since 2001. Derek holds the survey records of Richard Chapman, BCLS, a practitioner in the Okanagan area since 1957, and is in the same office that Richard built in 1965! The Penticton office has a mini museum of old survey instruments from throughout Richards career.
2014
AllTerra continued its growth in 2014, purchasing Fritsch Land Surveying as Linden Fritsch moved towards retirement.
2017
Most recently, in 2017, AllTerra joined forces with DA Goddard Land Surveying upon Doug Goddard’s retirement and continues to operate DA Goddard Surveys under the AllTerra umbrella on St Paul Street.
